The FSSS Board of Directors is responsible for advancing the Foundation’s mission. This responsibility includes carrying out activities that will increase the size of the endowment, authorizing expenditures, and serving on various FSSS committees. FSSS is independently incorporated; however, its Board members are, in part, also past and present members of the Board of SSSS and AASECT. The Board of Directors receives no salary or compensation for volunteer service. FSSS operates on the same principles of commitment to excellence and efficiency established by SSSS.
